Heavy Jet Charter From Fishers

Heavy jets give bigger groups a cabin tall enough to stand in, a real galley and enough range to fly across the country or overseas without stopping for fuel. We arrange the aircraft, crew and departure to fit your plans, and we call after you land.

When a Heavy Jet Is the Right Aircraft

No private charter cabin is larger than a heavy jet's. Most seat about 10 to 16 passengers, depending on model and layout, with distinct seating zones, a full-size lavatory and divans that fold into beds. Their fuel capacity allows long nonstop legs, which counts most on overseas and coast-to-coast trips.

On a quick flight to Chicago or Nashville, a heavy jet is usually more than the trip calls for, and we will say so. A light jet or midsize jet often handles it well at a lower cost. A heavy jet makes sense for long hours in the air, a group that needs space to work or sleep, or plenty of luggage.

We stay involved after the FBO. A day or two after you get home, we call to hear about the trip and record what you would change, so your next booking builds on what you already prefer.

What Your Heavy Jet Charter Includes

An all-inclusive quote

One number covers the aircraft, crew, fuel, standard fees and taxes. Pricing is point to point, so a one-way trip never carries round trip pricing, and nothing hidden is added after you say yes.

Cabin crew on longer flights

Besides two pilots, most heavy jets carry a flight attendant. Meals are served properly, the cabin stays tidy and someone looks after passengers from takeoff to landing.

Catering planned in advance

Catering is ordered through the departure FBO to match your tastes and any dietary needs. For overnight legs, we arrange breakfast along with dinner.

Connectivity and comfort

If you need to work while flying, we can find WIFI equipped aircraft. Pets can come along, and we settle the details with the operator ahead of departure.

A follow-up after you land

We get back in touch to hear what went well and what did not, from cabin layout to catering. Your notes are saved for the next trip.

Signs a Heavy Jet Fits Your Trip

  • Your flight runs five hours or more

On long legs, a stand-up cabin and room to stretch out make a real difference to how you feel on arrival. Heavy jets also have the range to fly nonstop where smaller aircraft would stop for fuel.

  • You are flying overseas

Transatlantic trips to Europe are where heavy jets are most at home. Fewer stops mean a shorter travel day and fewer handling steps along the way.

  • Your group has outgrown a midsize cabin

When the passenger count climbs past eight or nine, or the team needs space to hold a meeting in the air, a heavy jet keeps everyone on one aircraft.

  • You are carrying a lot of luggage

Ski gear, golf bags, sample cases and long-stay luggage fit more easily in a heavy jet's larger baggage hold, often reachable in flight.

  • Someone needs to sleep on board

Overnight flights are far easier when divans make up into flat beds. Ask us which aircraft offer that layout for your dates.

How Booking and Flying Works

  1. 1

    Tell us about the trip

Call us with your dates, destinations, passenger count and anything special, such as pets or heavy bags. We talk it through by phone or video, or at our office.

  2. 2

    Choose the aircraft and departure

We present suitable heavy jets with an all-inclusive quote for each. Heavy jets need longer runways than smaller aircraft, so we may recommend a larger field in the Indianapolis area instead of the closest one.

  3. 3

    Confirm the details

Once you approve, we confirm crew, catering, ground transport and passenger information with the operator and FBO. You receive a clear itinerary before departure.

  4. 4

    Fly

Arrive at the FBO shortly before departure, with no terminal lines. Your crew handles bags and boarding, and the aircraft leaves on your schedule.

  5. 5

We check in once you are back

When you return, we call to hear how it went. Your preferences are saved so the next heavy jet trip is quicker to arrange.

What Moves the Cost of a Heavy Jet

Flight time sets most of a heavy jet's price, and the hourly rate is higher than for smaller jets. Since we quote point to point, one way is priced as one way. These are the things that move the final number.

Flight time and distance
Time in the air accounts for most of the price. Wind, routing and fuel stops all change the total.
Aircraft model and age
A newer heavy jet with a refreshed cabin and more range generally costs more than an older model that still handles the trip in comfort.
Positioning
When the closest suitable jet sits at another airport, flying it to you may be included in the price. If the timing works, empty leg flights can sometimes cost less.
Overnights and international fees
Multi-day and overseas trips can add crew overnights, foreign airport and handling fees, and customs arrangements. Each one appears clearly in your quote.
Timing and demand
Fewer aircraft are open around holiday weekends and big events. Booking sooner widens your choices.

Heavy Jet Charter Questions

Something not covered here? (317) 779-1769

How many passengers fit on a heavy jet?

Usually 10 to 16 passengers, depending on model and layout. Seats that turn into beds lower that number on overnight trips. Give us your headcount and we will show you layouts that work.

Can we fly to Europe nonstop from central Indiana?

Plenty of heavy jets can reach Western Europe without stopping, depending on the destination, wind and load. We confirm the plan with the operator and tell you about any fuel stop before you book.

Do we have to sign up for anything or commit to future flights?

No. Every trip is booked on demand, with no long term commitments. Call when you need to fly, and that is the whole arrangement.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, pets can fly. We check the operator's pet rules and, for international trips, the entry requirements, since some countries want paperwork well ahead of arrival.

Is a heavy jet worth it for a two-hour flight?

Most of the time, no. On a shorter flight, a super-midsize or midsize jet offers a comfortable cabin for less. We will suggest the smaller aircraft when it fits the trip better.

Can you arrange a flight at short notice?

Our phone is answered at all hours, and we search for open aircraft whenever you need one. There are fewer heavy jets than smaller ones, so last-minute choices depend on what is nearby.
